This is a blog that I decided to write to talk about either products I personally use in my quest to scrape a bit of money from the internet (hey, everyone else is doing it, so why not me?), or else products that I find that look promising.  I am in no way an expert in the field of Affiliate Marketing, or any other source of making money on the net.  I have made a few bucks, and my goal is to grow in my own understanding of the process.  This blog will, I am sure, end up being a chronicling of my journey through the process of learning about what works, and what does not work.

What you can expect here is an honest opinion.  I will never recommend something that I do not believe in.  I may write about new products, or products that I don’t personally use, but look promising.  However, I will clearly tell you if I use something, and if I do, how it works.   I’ll also tell you about some of the things that I have tried along the way that have not worked so well for me.  I am sure that in the hands of more experienced marketers, even some of these would be successful, but they just didn’t fly for me.

My quest is for free and cheap products that make working part-time on the internet more successful.  I am always looking for things that will help me promote my work, grow my sites, and make them both functional and aesthetically pleasing.   Of course, this is an ever changing field, and it is hard to keep up with what works best today.  You may even find me a day late and a dollar short on some programs, but that is just the nature of the game.  Since I do this more as hobby, than as a way to support my family, it doesn’t get as much time put into it as some others may.

Along that line, I will also plan to connect you with some blogs that are written by much more able marketers than myself.  I like to surf around and find those great blogs that will give you the nugget of truth that will help you be successful.  The problem is, for every one of those blogs, there are 1000 full of useless materials.  Face it, by the time many are ready to share their “success plan” with you, they have petered it out to the point that they know you won’t make a dime…but they still charge you that super low price of $97 for it!  I hope to be able to weed through some of the stuff that works, and some that is just hype.

Finally, I am hoping to help look out for the programs that are just blatant scams.  The internet, of course, is just full of them.  I know, since I have been suckered into a couple of them.  Its not fun, but it is a learning experience.  Maybe I can help you to avoid the same mistakes that I have made along the way.
